Welcome to the sunny side of Bjäre.

V [/ dropcap] did you know that Hovs Hallar has one of Sweden’s mildest climates? Cows and horses go out here all year round and here the first new potato is picked – or pear as we say. That we have Hallandsåsen behind us – which protects us from the cold winds from the north – is part of the explanation. Another – the location on the south side of the ridge _ where the sun shines from early morning to evening. And on days when the sun is not shining, the sea, together with the sky and the cliffs, offers a dramatic spectacle. But why not experience it for yourself?
Since 1915, we at Hovs Hallar have been proud of our hospitality. Now we look forward to your visit – at our hotel, in our restaurant and in our conference rooms. A warm welcome to Bjare’s sunny side.

Royal excursion destination since 1915

Fresh, invigorating sea air, brisk walks and a view for the soul. The year was 1915 and both Båstad’s summer society and nature lovers from near and far went out to the small café at Hovs Hallar, with horse and carriage, bicycle, or, for the really well-off, in the cabriolet with driver. Perhaps even the king, Gustav V Adolf, glimpsed past in the sun. Learn more about our history
